Situated in the heart of Oxford on the High Street is the city's largest venue, the Examination Schools. The building can host up to 360 seated guests in one room, with space for your drinks reception, three-course meal and after dinner entertainment all under one roof. You can also add activities such as photobooths and casino tables for an extra bit of flair.
For a truly unique and sophisticated evening, the Sheldonian is the marvellous venue you're looking for. Located on Broad Street right next to the Christmas Market, the building can host up to 150 people within its atmospheric Auditorium. This Grade I listed building's combination of grand 17th century architecture, extraordinary painted ceiling and the opportunity to gaze over Oxford's twilight skyline creates an unforgettable festive experience.
If you're after something smaller yet still with that Oxford charm, St Luke's Chapel offers beautiful original features such as pre-Raphaelite stained-glass windows and a vaulted ceiling. Set back from the hustle and bustle of Oxford's city centre in the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, parties of up to 40 will be able to enjoy this cosy space with a traditional festive feel.
